Terms and conditions for contracting services with Just Like Home

This document regulates the general Terms and Conditions (T&C) for contracting tourist accommodation services and others, offered through this website (www.justlikehome.es). If there is any other type of T&C of a particular nature of a service, these will be made available to the client for acceptance, before contracting it.

These T&C are applicable for the direct contracting of services (through the web, by email or telephone) with Just Like Home S.L. (JLH). The same accommodations may be marketed by other platforms or managers that will apply their own T&C, the contracting party having no commercial link with JLH in case of booking through these alternative routes.

 

Reservations

To reserve an apartment it is mandatory that it be in the name of a person over 18 years old. This person will be considered the contracting party and will be responsible for compliance with these T&C.

In order to determine the price and availability, it is necessary to indicate the total number of people who need to stay, also indicating how many adults and how many children (children up to 14 years old are considered).

The prices indicated in the search results are final and correspond to the options chosen by the client. All prices are shown with taxes included.

JLH does not provide hotel services such as room services, breakfasts, luggage storage, etc. The contracted services are limited to the rental of tourist apartments.

JLH reserves the right to charge a deposit of € 150 per apartment as reported at the time of booking, to cover possible damages in the event that they occur. This deposit will be returned if the apartment is in perfect condition and there have been no incidents.

 

Reservation confirmation

The reservation will be considered confirmed (and these T&C will come into effect) when the payment is received through any of the payment gateways authorized for this purpose (Credit Card, PayPal or Bank Transfer).

At that time, a confirmation email will be sent to the Client from the email address reservations@justlikehome.es, said email will contain all the necessary information about the reservation and a link to manage it directly on our website.

Cancellation policy

The cancellation policy depends on the rate chosen at the time of booking. Normally the Client will have two options to choose:

Standard Rate

Reservations made with this policy have Free Cancellation up to 15 days before the date of entry. Once this period has elapsed, the full price of the reservation will be charged.

To cancel a reservation, the Client must contact JLH through any of the means provided for this (email, telephone, WhatsApp, contact forms, etc.). Once the cancellation request is received, the refund of the money will be processed, this operation may take from 1 to 5 business days depending on the payment gateway used for the reservation.

Non Refundable Rate

Reservations made with this policy, as the name implies, are non-refundable. This rate is cheaper than the previous one due to this.

Promotional Rates

Promotional rates are not modifiable or cancellable.

Discount Codes

Discount codes are applied to a certain rate chosen when making the reservation. The applicable conditions are those of the base rate.

 

No Show

Reservations will be held until 10 am the day after the check-in date. After that period, JLH will be free to reopen the calendar and market the apartment for the remaining days.

In case of No Show, 100% of the reservation amount will be charged.

 

Force Majeure

If the Client is unable to appear as a result of Force Majeure, please contact JLH as soon as possible to deal with the case in a particular way.

The regulation of the concept of Force Majeure is found in article 1.105 of the Civil Code: “Outside of the cases expressly mentioned in the law, and those in which the obligation so declares, no one will be liable for those events that could not have been foreseen, or that, foreseen, they were unavoidable ”.

They are also essential requirements to request it:

  • That the event is inevitable and unpredictable;
  • That there is a physical or legal, objective, lasting impossibility;
  • The absence of intent or guilt.

Any situation caused by Covid19 is expressly excluded from the concept of Force Majeure.

Modification of Reservations

Modification by the client

In the case of standard rates, the Client can modify their reservation free of charge, as long as there is availability, up to 15 days before the Check-in date.

If the reservation is modifiable, the Client may do so directly through the link received in the confirmation email. Either way, you can always contact us by any of the means indicated above.

Non-Refundable and Promotional rates do not allow changes.

Requests for extension of the reservation are subject to availability. Requests to reduce the reservation are subject to the applicable Cancellation Policy.

Modification by JLH

In the event that due to unforeseen circumstances, JLH has to modify or cancel a reservation, we will immediately contact the Client. As far as possible, we will offer alternatives with accommodation of similar characteristics.

If the Client does not agree with the proposed alternative, he may cancel at no cost. JLH does not assume any other responsibility for the modification or cancellation, total or partial, of the reservation.

 

Payment Methods

In all cases, the total of the reservation will be charged at the time of confirmation. The accepted payment methods are:

  • Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, Mastercard Maestro, American Express, Union Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • PayPal
  • Wire transfer. All possible commissions for transfers outside the SEPA zone are the responsibility of the client.

If the payment is made by bank transfer, keep in mind that the reservation will not be confirmed until the receipt of the transfer is received by email and it will be subject to the amount being reflected in our bank. The deposit must have been made at least 3 days before the Check-in date, in the case of SEPA zone transfers, and at least 15 days in advance, for international transfers.

 

Deposit

At the time of booking, an amount of 150 Eur will be charged as a deposit. Once it is verified that there have been no incidents or damage to the accommodation, the refund of the money will be processed, this operation may take from 1 to 5 business days depending on the payment gateway used for the reservation.

 

Apartment Rules

Below you can find the mandatory rules when staying in one of our apartments. They must be fulfilled throughout the stay without exception.

Any breach thereof entitles JLH to request guests to leave the accommodation immediately without the guests being entitled to any compensation from JLH. JLH reserves the right to report it to the competent authorities.

Behaviour

The first rule is one of behavior. The accommodations offered by JLH are located in residential areas and polite and civic behavior is required.

Parties are totally forbidden, as well as bachelor parties and loud music. The hours of rest are from 10:00 p.m. to 09:00 a.m. and must be respected.

If there is any incident with the neighbors, the authorities, cleaning service, etc. caused by the client, JLH has the right to request the immediate eviction of the facilities and the 150 Eur deposit left as security will be automatically charged.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the accommodations (including terraces and balconies).

Check-in

Check-in time is from 4 pm on the date indicated in the reservation. Before that time we cannot ensure that it is prepared according to our quality and cleanliness standards.

Our Check-ins are telematic, this allows us to be flexible with the schedules and gives comfort to the client. It is very important that you inform us of your arrival time as soon as possible so that we have everything prepared so that Check-in is as quick and satisfactory for you.

Check-out

Check-out must be done before 11:00 a.m., in case you need to do it later, please check with us.

Keys must be left inside the apartment in a visible place. The loss of the keys carries a charge of € 40.

Pre Check-in

In accordance with current legislation, JLH is obliged to register with the Police the data of all those over 16 years of age who stay in our Apartments.

For this reason, we will ask you in advance for a copy of the DNI or Passport, and the signature of the Check-in form.

Occupation

In our booking engine you must specify the number of people who will stay, both adults and children. The client agrees not to exceed the number of people indicated in the reservation. If you do, an extra cost of 50 Eur will be charged for each additional person.

Pets

Pets are not allowed. In case of visually impaired people who need a guide dog, please communicate it in advance.

Cleanning

The cleaning of the apartments is carried out only before the arrival of the Client.

At the end of the stay, the Client is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition. Otherwise you will be charged the cost of an additional cleaning.

 

Compensation for non-compliance

The Client undertakes to keep the accommodation and all its content in the same conditions in which it was found on arrival.

By accepting this document, the Client assumes full responsibility for any damages that may be caused to the rented accommodation, as well as its content. The amount of the deposit will serve to cover, in a non-limiting way, the following concepts by way of compensation:

  1. Leave garbage in the apartment: € 30
  2. Loss of keys: € 40
  3. Smoking in the property: € 150
  4. Entry of more people than those indicated in the reservation: € 50 person and day.
  5. Having parties or annoying activities in the property: Automatic eviction and € 150 fine.
  6. Damaged or missing objects: Their replacement value.

If the amount of the deposit does not cover the aspects indicated in the previous points, the Client is responsible to JLH for paying the difference.

 

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

We inform you that the right of withdrawal for distance contracting provided for in Directive 2011/83 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 25, 2011 on consumer rights, is excluded, among others, in contracts of provision of accommodation services. Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided by JLH.
